Infektionen mit dem Epstein-Barr-Virus (EBV) stehen im kausalen Zusammenhang mit etwa 2 % aller Tumoren weltweit. Die Abteilung Pathogenese infektionsbedingter Tumoren studiert die molekularen Mechanismen, die zur Virusvermehrung, Infektion von B-Zellen und Epithelzellen und letztlich zur Tumorentstehung führen.

Zur Unterstützung des Teams suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine:n Technische:n Assistent:in (m/w/d).

 

Job description:

  • Molekularbiologische Arbeiten (DNA- und RNA-Extraktionen, cDNA-Synthesen, PCRs, Klonierungen etc.)
  • In-vitro-Expression von Antikörpern und Aufreinigung
  • Mitarbeit bei In-vivo-Experimenten an Mäusen (Applikation von Medikamenten und Zellen, Organentnahme und Organprozessierung)
  • Durchführung von Infektionen mit dem Epstein-Barr-Virus, Immunfärbungen von Zellen, Western-Blot-Analysen, Mikroskopie, Live-Cell-Imaging, Bilddokumentation und -bearbeitung
  • Labororganisation (Bestellungen, Eintragung in Datenbanken, Pflege der Vollständigkeit von Reagenzien, Anleiten von Student:innen)

Requirements:

  • Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als BTA, CTA oder Biologielaborant:in oder vergleichbare Ausbildung und/oder vergleichbare Kenntnisse
  • Strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Dokumentation durchgeführter Arbeiten
  • Anwendung von Standard-Office-Software und Datenbanken
  • Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
