Die Nachwuchsgruppe „Systemimmunologie & Einzelzell-Biologie“ unter der Leitung von Dr. Felix Hartmann sucht zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine:n erfahrene:n Laborleiter:in (m/w/d).

Unser Labor ist bestrebt zu verstehen, wie zelluläre Interaktionen zwischen Tumoren und dem Immunsystem den Ausgang einer Krebserkrankung beim Menschen bestimmen. Dazu untersuchen wir metabolische Interaktionen zwischen T-Zellen, Makrophagen und Tumorzellen direkt in der menschlichen Tumormikroumgebung mithilfe von Multiplex-Histologie-Ansätzen.

Zur Unterstützung dieser wichtigen Arbeit suchen wir eine:n Laborleiter:in. Diese Position ist ideal für Kandidat:innen, die Interesse daran haben, experimentelle Arbeit mit Labormanagement in einem flexiblen Arbeitsumfeld in Einklang zu bringen und Verantwortung zu übernehmen.

 

Job description:

  • Molekularbiologische Arbeiten, wie zum Beispiel Antikörperkonjugation
  • Immunhistochemische und histologische Färbung menschlicher Gewebe
  • Datenerfassung mit Multiplex-Histologie-Technologie (MIBI)
  • Testen, Validieren und Vergleichen experimenteller Protokolle
  • Schulung neuer Labormitarbeiter:innen in experimentellen Protokollen
  • Bestellung von Laborreagenzien und Verwaltung von Lieferungen
  • Koordination von Serviceleistungen und Reparaturen von vorhandenen Laborgeräten sowie Anschaffung von neuen Geräten

Requirements:

  • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als BTA/MTA oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in einem wissenschaftlichen Labor
  • Hohes Maß an Motivation, Zuverlässigkeit und Eigenverantwortung
  • Vorkenntnisse in Histologie, Immunfluoreszenz- oder verwandten Tests sind von Vorteil, aber nicht erforderlich
  • Sehr gute Konversationsfähigkeit in Deutsch und Englisch
