“Research for a life without cancer" is our mission at the German Cancer Research Center. We investigate how cancer develops, identify cancer risk factors and look for new cancer prevention strategies. We develop new methods with which tumors can be diagnosed more precisely and cancer patients can be treated more successfully. Every contribution counts – whether in research, administration or infrastructure. This is what makes our daily work so meaningful and exciting.

We are looking for a motivated student to assist our H3 Health Hub program management team as soon as possible. H3 Health Hub is a Helmholtz Transfer Academy dedicated to bring innovative research results from lab to business.

Your Tasks

You will assist our program managers in

  • sending out newsletters and information material in different online systems (e.g. e-mail, Slack, Zoho Campaigns)
  • administrating events online (e.g. Indico, website), and communication with event partners
  • research and entering data into online databases (e.g. customer relationship management (CRM) system, website)

Your Profile

  • Enrolement at a university is a prerequisite
  • Strong proven interest in Entrepreneurship (experience, workshops and/or formal training)
  • Excellent command in English, good command in German
  • Experience and interest in working with digital tools
  • Strong team player, proactive communication style
