The Junior Research Group "Developmental Origins of Pediatric Cancer" (led by Dr. Lena Kutscher) studys how progenitor cells typically develop and how pediatric tumors take advantage of these programs to drive tumorigenesis.

Your Tasks

As a student / research assistant in our group, you will be responsible for the weekly molecular biology tasks. In addition, you will also assist in the preparation of buffers and agarose plates, as well as with basic organizational tasks (e.g., consumables).

Your Profile

  • Enrolled as a bachelor or master's student, preferably in an early semester
  • Basic understanding of molecular biology techniques (theoretical)
  • Basic command of the English language
  • Ability to work at set hours weekly (the exact hours/times are flexible, but need to be regular)
