To strengthen the team of our Core Facility "Cellular Tools", we are seeking for the next possible date an experienced and highly motivated

This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities within a modern, international research environment and provides the opportunity to actively shape technological developments as well as sustainably advance scientific and operational processes.

 

Your Tasks

  • Design, planning, and management of cell engineering projects
  • Driving the strategic development and establishment of technologies for cell line engineering
  • Standardization and continuous optimization existing service modules
  • Providing scientific consulting to internal and external users
  • Ensuring, development, and documentation of quality standards
  • Analysis, interpretation, and presentation of scientific results
  • Contribution to the facility’s administrative development
  • Coordination of workflows in the laboratory environment

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in combination with a PhD in biology, molecular biology, or a related field
  • Extensive hands-on experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques
  • Strong hands-on experience and practical expertise in working with viral systems, as well as in genome editing (including establishment, standardization, and scaling)
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
  • Very good command of German and English
  • Proficiency in common MS Office applications
  • Experience in project management is a plus, but not required
