Position: Student Assistant (HiWi) in Medical Informatics (10-20h/week)

Job description:

We need you to:

  • Help us analyze patient data using state-of-the-art computational methods
  • Assist other teams in our group in research

  • You are studying at a university in Germany (preferably in an early semester)
  • Solid experience in Linux, Python
  • Experience in machine learning (numpy, sklearn)
  • Good English communication skills
  • You are self-motivated and can work remotely
  • You enjoy working in a team
  • You are organized and have good documentation skills

Furthermore the following qualifications are advantageous:

  • Experience in deep learning (tensorflow and/or pytorch)
  • Experience in R (Bioconductor)
  • Basic statistical knowledge
  • Interest in biomedical research
