Job description:

The international team of the Division of B Cell Immunology studies the molecular and cellular mechanisms that affect the quality of immune responses on the level of single cells. Among other topics, the Division is aiming to develop new strategies for the targeted improvement of vaccines.

In this position, you will support various scientific projects in the fields of molecular biology and immunology with a special emphasis on cloning, expressing and testing of antigen receptors on single cell level. Furthermore, we are looking for qualified support in immunization tasks and in the evaluation of vaccination responses in animal models.

Requirements:

The Division is looking for a flexible, highly motivated, open-minded employee who will work well in a team. You must have strong organizational skills and be highly responsible. Successful vocational training as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) m/f along with extensive professional experience are prerequisites for this position. Applicants must be experienced with molecular biological work and be willing and prepared to work with laboratory animals. Prior experience with tasks on single cell level are desirable.

We expect very good command of the English language and sound IT-knowledge.
