For the partner site of DKTK Berlin the German Cancer Research Center is seeking a postdoc.


Job description:

The applicant will conduct basic research in T cell tumor immunology. The research involves single cell methodologies and various techniques in the field of molecular biology.

Mentoring will be shared between PD Dr. Leo Hansmann at Charité, Medical Department, Division of Hematology, Oncology and Tumor Immunology (Campus Virchow-Klinikum) and Prof. Dr. Thomas Blankenstein - Charité, Institute of Immunology (Campus Buch).

The successful applicant has acquired basic research experience in T cell immunology and/or antigen presentation during her/his doctoral work. She or he can work independently and is quick in adapting novel technologies.

Extraordinary motivation, strong interest and substantial knowledge in human (tumor) immunology, as well as collaborative skills are fundamental prerequisites.
