Job description:

The PhD project aims to identify potentially druggable mechanisms of YAP-driven tumor immune escape in liver cancer. Different state-of-the-art techniques will be applied, including novel, organoid-based transplantation cancer models, genetic perturbation of cancer and stromal cells and single-cell sequencing.

The ideal candidate should hold a master's degree in biology / life sciences with an excellent background in biochemistry, cell or molecular biology. Further, the candidate should be highly motivated, be able to pursue research projects independently as well as in collaborations and have excellent wet lab and analytical skills. A good command of written and oral English is essential.
