Your Tasks

We are looking for a student assistant to help with the digitalization of preclinical and clinical data from radiotherapy experiments. Currently, the data exists in paper form in research reports and needs to be transferred into a structured database.

The student assistant will support data management in scientific work by entering and validating the research data while complying with a set of requirements in preclinical research practice.

You will be responsible for preclinical data entry of various projects regarding treated and untreated tumors using Excel. These data refer to irradiated tumors, in some cases also combined with different substances, with both histology and storage issues.

The student assistant will learn and gain experience working in a small, agile team.

Your Profile

  • Current certificate of enrollment as a bachelor's or master's student
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially MS Excel
  • Affinity for entering numbers relating to the combination of values
  • Structured, organized and accurate working method
  • Understanding of clinical and preclinical data terminology
  • Willingness to work as part of a team
  • Good knowledge of English; German is an advantage
  • Previous experience of (pre)clinical trials and histological (lab) processes is an advantage
