Informed consent

By sending your application documents and data you agree with the electronic processing of your personal data (title, first name, surname, date of birth, address, e-mail address, data from your application documents, listing of a severe disability) for the processing of your application by the Human Resources Department of the German Cancer Research Center and with the storage of your data for up to 6 months following the end of the application process. An application process is completed when the rejection letters are sent. If an application is revoked, the 6-months term starts with the confirmation of the revocation. Furthermore, you agree that your data may be transferred to the relevant divisions at DKFZ (e.g. staff of the Human Resources Department, authorized persons in the department advertising the position, the Staff Council, and in the case that applications of severely disabled persons have been submitted for the position, the Representative of Severely Disabled Persons) for processing your application. If you have applied for a job within the scope of DKTK, NCT or HI-TRON Mainz then your data may also be transferred to the managers of the departments directly related to the advertised position, who in some cases are not employees of the DKFZ.

Your personal data will then be deleted from the data processing systems of the DKFZ. There will be no further disadvantages for you.
